PLC — the controller
A programmable logic controller reads instrument signals, runs control logic and operates devices such as pumps or valves.

Based in Casablanca, Neodyn Group helps industrial and infrastructure teams in Morocco define and integrate PLC control, HMI operator interfaces and SCADA supervision. We assess existing equipment, operating requirements and site constraints before agreeing a project scope.
We review the controllers, instruments, communications and operating needs already on site before defining PLC, HMI or SCADA changes. The aim is a system operators can understand, test and maintain.
Field instruments send signals to controllers. Controllers run the process logic; operator screens and SCADA make the system visible and, where permitted, controllable.
A programmable logic controller reads instrument signals, runs control logic and operates devices such as pumps or valves.
A human-machine interface shows equipment status and lets an authorized operator enter setpoints or commands.
Supervisory control and data acquisition combines controller data for monitoring, alarms and trends. Its operator screens are also HMIs.
Example: a pumping station A level instrument sends a reading to the PLC, which applies the agreed pump-control logic. An operator checks the pump locally on an HMI; SCADA can show its status, alarms and history alongside other stations. The actual design depends on the site and its operating requirements.
Review PLCs, remote terminal units (RTUs), instruments, I/O lists and protocols. Confirm the signals and commands needed by SCADA.
Structure operator views around the process: equipment status, setpoints, permitted commands and clear navigation between plant areas.
Agree alarm priorities, acknowledgements and historical data needs with operators and maintenance teams before configuring screens and reports.
Assess network interfaces, user roles, remote-access requirements and loss-of-communication behavior with the client’s operations and IT/OT teams.

Collect drawings, controller and SCADA references, source-file access, operating objectives and shutdown constraints. Identify interfaces and acceptance criteria.
Define the control and supervision architecture, develop the agreed configuration and coordinate equipment interfaces with the project team.
Plan factory or site tests where applicable, verify alarms and operating modes, and commission around the agreed site access and production schedule.
Agree backups, configuration records, operator information and the scope of post-commissioning support before handover.
Production equipment status, process sequences, line alarms and plant data interfaces.
