This ORP sensor cube is part of the Type 8905 online water analysis system. It measures the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), which is a key parameter for evaluating disinfectant activity in water. Unlike measuring the applied dose, the ORP value reflects the remaining residual disinfectant. The sensor connects electrically and fluidically through the system's backplane and communicates via the digital büS interface, enabling automatic login and easy parameterization according to user needs. It also includes protection against biological growth on the reference electrode, making it suitable for all applications, especially in water with very low or no chlorine content.
